Copyzoid is a Chrome Extension developed and operated by LoSo Software LLC. When this Privacy Policy refers to "Copyzoid," "we," "us," or "our," it means LoSo Software LLC and the Copyzoid product.

When you create an account, we collect your email address and a securely hashed password. If you sign in with Google, we receive your email address and Google account identifier from Google's OAuth service. We do not receive your Google password.
When you save snippets, templates, words, or notes to Copyzoid, that content is stored in our database to enable sync across your devices. We do not read, analyze, or use your snippet content for any purpose other than delivering the product to you.
We may collect basic technical information such as your browser type, extension version, and general error logs. This data is used solely to improve stability and fix bugs. It is never tied to your individual identity for marketing purposes.
Payment processing is handled entirely by Stripe. We never see or store your full credit card number. We receive only a Stripe customer ID and subscription status to manage your Pro plan access.

Your data is stored in Supabase, a PostgreSQL database platform with enterprise-grade security. Access to your data is protected by Row Level Security (RLS), meaning database rules enforce that only you can read or modify your own snippets — even at the database query level.
All data is transmitted over HTTPS/TLS encryption. Your password is never stored in plaintext; it is hashed using industry-standard algorithms before storage.
While we take reasonable precautions to protect your data, no system is 100% immune to security incidents. In the unlikely event of a data breach that affects your personal information, we will notify you promptly via the email address on your account.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. The only circumstances under which we share data are:
We retain your account and snippet data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data and all snippet content from our servers within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.
Soft-deleted snippets (moved to trash within the app) are retained in your account until you permanently delete them or delete your account.

The Copyzoid Chrome Extension does not use cookies. Authentication tokens are stored in chrome.storage.local, which is private to the extension and not accessible by websites you visit.
Our landing page and marketing website may use minimal, privacy-respecting analytics to understand aggregate traffic. We do not use advertising pixels or cross-site tracking technologies.
Copyzoid is not directed at children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us at [email protected] and we will delete it promptly.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify you via email. Your continued use of Copyzoid after changes become effective constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
