What's the difference between Free and Pro?
The Free plan lets you save up to 5 snippets stored locally. Pro gives you unlimited snippets, cloud sync across all devices, folders, smart variables, dark mode, export/import, and priority support.
Do I need an account to use Copyzoid?
No. You can use Copyzoid without an account — your snippets will be saved locally in your browser. Create a free account (email or Google) to unlock cloud sync and access your snippets on multiple devices.
How does cloud sync work?
When you sign in, Copyzoid merges your local snippets with any existing cloud snippets and syncs everything to your account. Every create, edit, or delete is instantly synced. Sign into any Chrome browser to access your full library.
How do smart variables work?
Write your template using {{variable_name}} syntax — e.g., "Hi {{first_name}}, I saw your work at {{company}}." When you copy that template, Copyzoid prompts you to fill in each variable before putting the final text on your clipboard. Available on Pro.
How do I open Copyzoid quickly?
Press Ctrl+B on Windows/Linux or Cmd+B on Mac from any webpage. You can customize this shortcut at chrome://extensions/shortcuts in your browser.
How do I cancel my Pro subscription?
Email us at [email protected] with your account email and we'll cancel it promptly — no hoops, no questions. You'll keep Pro access until the end of your current billing period.
Can I export my snippets?
Yes — Pro users can export their entire snippet library as a JSON file from the account menu inside the extension. You can also import a JSON file to migrate from another device or restore a backup.
What browsers does Copyzoid support?
Copyzoid is built for Google Chrome and any Chromium-based browser that supports Chrome extensions (such as Microsoft Edge or Brave). Firefox and Safari are not currently supported.
Is my snippet data private and secure?
Yes. Your snippet content is stored with Row Level Security — only you can access your own data, even at the database level. We never read, sell, or share your snippets. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
I deleted a snippet by accident. Can I recover it?
Yes. Copyzoid uses soft deletes — deleted snippets go to the Trash tab, not permanent deletion. Click Trash, find your snippet, and click the restore button (↩). Permanently deleted items cannot be recovered.
How do I delete my account?
Email [email protected] with the subject "Delete my account" from your registered email. We will permanently delete your account and all data within 30 days per our Privacy Policy.
