How do I install Copyzoid?
Find Copyzoid on the Chrome Web Store and click "Add to Chrome." Once installed, press Ctrl+B (Windows/Linux) or Cmd+B (Mac) on any tab to open it. No account required to start.
What's the difference between Free and Pro?
Free gives you 5 snippets locally, plus up to 10 bonus slots via referrals. Pro ($4.99/mo) gives you unlimited snippets, cloud sync across all devices, folders, smart variables, and export/import.
Do I need an account to use Copyzoid?
No. You can use Copyzoid without an account — snippets are saved locally in your browser. Create a free account (email or Google) to unlock cloud sync across devices.
How does cloud sync work?
When you sign in, Copyzoid merges your local snippets with your cloud library and syncs everything. Every create, edit, or delete is instantly synced. Sign into any Chrome browser to access your full library.
How do smart variables work?
Write templates using {{variable_name}} syntax — e.g. "Hi {{first_name}}." When you copy, Copyzoid prompts you to fill in each placeholder before putting the final text on your clipboard. Pro feature.
How do I open Copyzoid quickly?
Press Ctrl+B on Windows/Linux or Cmd+B on Mac from any webpage. You can also customize this shortcut at chrome://extensions/shortcuts.
How do I cancel my Pro subscription?
Email us at contact@copyzoid.com with your account email. We'll cancel promptly — no hoops, no questions. You'll keep Pro access until the end of your billing period.
Can I export my snippets?
Yes — Pro users can export their entire library as a JSON file from the account menu in the extension. You can also import a JSON file to migrate or restore a backup. Your data is always yours.
What browsers does Copyzoid support?
Copyzoid is built for Google Chrome and Chromium-based browsers (Edge, Brave). Firefox and Safari are not currently supported.
Is my snippet data private?
Yes. Your data is stored with Row Level Security — only you can access your own snippets, even at the database level. We never read, sell, or share your content. See our Privacy Policy.
I deleted a snippet by accident. Can I recover it?
Yes. Deleted snippets go to the Trash tab — not permanent deletion. Open the Trash tab in the extension, find your snippet, and click the restore button. Permanently deleted items cannot be recovered.
How do I delete my account?
Email contact@copyzoid.com with the subject "Delete my account" from your registered email. We'll permanently delete your account and all data within 30 days.
